Bedding In Procedure
Please follow the recommended bedding-in procedure for
best result of braking performance.
- After fitting new Disc brake pads, accelerating
velocity to 60 km/h.
- Push brakes using to moderate pedal effort to reduce
speed to approximately 10 km/h.
- Repeat step 1 and 2 approximately 10 times, to
condition material surface of rotor and Disc brake
pads.
- After bedding-in can be drive at normal condition.
- Avoid hard braking for first 100 km
|
| If do not follow-up bedding-in
procedure, there will be problems asthe following.
|
- Excessive heat will be generated on the surface
of Disc pads.
- Resin will burn, noise and dust.
- Loss of good braking performance.
- Can experience fade (slippery).
